Preliminary Municipal Election Scheduled for Ward 4 and Ward 6

HAVERHILL - A Preliminary Municipal Election has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, for voters in Ward 4 and Ward 6 only. Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

If you vote at any of the following polling locations on Election Day, you are eligible to participate in this election:

• Nettle Middle School
• Northern Essex Community College (NECC)
• Kennedy Circle
• Haverhill High School (Ward 6 only)
• J.G. Whittier Middle School
• Pentucket Lake Elementary School

Early Voting Information

Early Voting will be available from Tuesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 5th from 8 AM to 4 PM in the City Clerk’s Office (Room 118), located on the first floor of City Hall, 4 Summer Street. Handicap-accessible entry is available via the Main Street lower parking lot entrance.

Important Dates

• Voter registration deadline: Friday, August 29th at 5:00 PM
• Deadline to request a Vote by Mail ballot: Tuesday, September 2nd at 5:00 PM
• Election Day: Tuesday, September 9th 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
