Haverhill's Top Dog Contest
City Clerk, Kaitlin Wright, is pleased to announce the winners of the 4th Annual “Haverhill Top Dog” contest. The contest encourages residents to license their dogs by offering them a friendly competition. The winners were randomly chosen Monday at the City Clerk’s Office.
2nd Place was awarded to “Silas,” a two-year-old male Chihuahua mix. His owner is Robin Doyle. Silas was awarded dog license #2.
Finally, 3rd Place was awarded to “Pearl,” an eight-year-old female Pug. Her owner is Hannah Jelly. Pearl was awarded dog license #3.
City Clerk, Kaitlin Wright commented “A huge thank you to everyone who entered the contest and congratulations to the winners. This year, we saw our highest turnout of contestants with 73 total entries! We have enjoyed seeing the photos of your furry friends and are excited to post the photos in our office and on our website to showcase the winners. Be on the lookout for our contest next year!”
Dogs must be licensed before May 31st or will incur a late fee. New dogs may be licensed at any time. Licensing can be completed in person at the Clerk’s Office located at City Hall, Room 118, 4 Summer Street, online (click here), or by mail. A copy of a valid rabies certificate is required for licensing.
