MassHIRE Merrimack Valley Career Center services now at Haverhill City Hall

The MassHIRE Merrimack Valley Career Center is a One-Stop career center, providing a wide range of services to job seekers and businesses, youth to adults in the Merrimack Valley. As a comprehensive career center, you’ll find a wide range of services and resources designed to help job seekers quickly and easily secure their first job, find a new job or research other career opportunities, and allow businesses to identify and recruit qualified, skilled workers to enhance their workforce. Youth can also find a broad set of programs designed to help them obtain skills in a variety of occupations.

While MassHIRE Merrimack Valley Career Center's main office is in Lawrence, they have established a satellite office at Haverhill City Hall, 4 Summer Street, Room 308, Haverhill, MA 01830. This arrangement is temporary until a new career center location can be established in Haverhill but will last until at least June 30, 2026.  The Career Center office will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM. To schedule an appointment, please call (978) 722-7000. Walk-ins can usually be accommodated, but there is no guarantee, so appointments are highly encouraged.

NOTE: Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) staff are not on site at the Career Center. For DUA, please call 877-626-6800 or visit their website.
