Behavioral Response Clinician

40 Hours/week $74,460-$86,700 per year 

The Behavioral Response Clinician (BRC) is embedded within the Haverhill Police Department (HPD) and serves as a vital resource in supporting individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, or behavioral crises in the community.

Deputy Police Chief (INTERNAL)

40 Hours/week $214,200 per year 

Subject to the direction and control of the Police Chief, the Deputy Police Chief is responsible for the supervision and control of all officers and is personally responsible for their efficiency and effectiveness as members of the Department.

Library Assistant Tech Services-Division head

40 Hrs/per week  $995.24-$1,188.72 per week

Performs all duties related to the processing of library materials as needed including: labeling, stamping, covering, and any other handling required.

Library Page (Part Time)

Up to 15 hrs/week  $15-$18 per hour

Performs all duties related to the organization and shelving of library materials including books, magazines, newspapers, videos and CDs.  Will assist in completing the pull list of requested items. Represents the library in a pleasant and helpful manner in all aspects of work.

 

Sr. Sanitary Inspector

40 Hours/week  $1,421.22-$1,568.13 per week

Perform inspections, field sampling, and testing.  Engage in enforcement and public information activities.  Conduct routine inspectional activities of food service establishments to assure safe, wholesome and sanitary food and food products, wherever produced, processed, distributed, transported, or served. 

 

Fleet Mechanic

The City of Haverhill Fire Department Fleet Maintenance Division is seeking a dedicated candidate who is fully committed to their role, as our team functions as first responders for the city’s Fire Department.

Economic Development Director (Part Time)

(20-25 hours per week) $65.93-$71.43 per hour

Prepare and implement overall economic development strategy and agenda for the City in cooperation with other staff.

Water Treatment Plant Chemist

$1530.22 - $1640.62 per week (for hires after 7/1/2010)
$1580.00 - $1694.00 per week (for hires on or before 7/1/2010)

Mon-Fri 7am-3pm (40 hours per week)
The water treatment plant chemist performs all duties related to the operation and management of the water treatment plant laboratory.

Water Meter Tech 2

$23.94-$28.25 per hour

Mon-Fri 7am-3pm (40 hours per week)
The Water Meter Technician 2 will read meters throughout the City of Haverhill and assure that water meters are read and recorded accurately.

 

Assistant Supervisor

$16-$18 per hour (Not eligible for benefits) Part Time up to 19.5 hours/week

Open and close The School Age Programs as needed. Coordinate and implement daily activities. Plan monthly themed programs. Assist with program planning. Assist with behavior problems or other assistance as needed during program hours.

 

 

 

 

Maintenance Mechanic Helper

Full Time (40 hours per week) $22.29-$27.23 per hour

Participates in the overhaul, repair, testing, maintenance and operation of a wide variety of mechanical equipment in a large activated sludge wastewater treatment plant; performs related work as required. 

Motor Equipment Operator/Laborer

Full Time (40 hours per week) $22.29-$27.23 per hour

Performs light to heavy manual tasks requiring some specialized skill or knowledge and operates light, medium, heavy or specialized automotive equipment used in the operation, maintenance, construction and repair of the City of Haverhill's wastewater and storm water collection systems and related facilities.

The Interview Process
